Theresa Mays speech today suggests she's going to come down hard on firms that are abusing and exploiting the low pay, ''self employed'' and zero hours contracts that are routinely used in the so called ''gig economy''
Given that most of our parcel delivery rivals entire business models are based on exploiting their ''gig economy'' workforce this could hopefully be good news for RM?

TBH it's not to help the workers , they're scared how much tax they'll lose as more people move onto them types of contract.

You're probably correct, but still, the only way the govt is going to increase their tax take from these companies is by forcing them to pay wages at a level that can be taxed in the first place.
