Yeh - that should see us right hey.

Re. op. So let me get this straight - a mate of a mate whose Mrs. once became intimiate with the best friend of a rep over a bottle of Thunderbird says the pension is, and I quote, "f****d" ?

Am I right ?

FWIW I fully expect the CWU proposal to be rejected.

Well my personal illustration said I would be 6k a year worse off under the new scheme so 2k would be a great offer, well, assuming I drop dead within 4 months of retirement

i would've though if the talks were failing, that would/ could start possible industrial action thereby triggering a share price tumble.

As they say, "no news is good news". I'm hopeful that the talks are ongoing. I would have thought by now that one side or the other would have spat their dummy out if they weren't. At the end of the day, it wouldn't be good for the workers OR RM if strike action were to take place.

Is there something in this? An extra hundred million put into the pension each year.
