I just wondered how your final pension figure is worked out
I know you have your projected figure each year on your statement but someone mentioned your actual pension amount is the best out of the last 3 years income or something like that.
My reason for asking is if someone is 54 and intended on taking their pension at 55 but wanted to go part time for the last year of say 20 hour. How would this effect their actual pension.
Many thanks

Didn't you ask a very similar question on 11/12 and get replies? Sometimes you need to do your own reading rather than rely on others to do it for you.You could call Pensions Helpline!
