Will the shares be taxed 52% on Friday cuz we hit the higher tax bracket ? Were the point tbh

That was exactly my thoughts, sold mine on Wednesday got £4.94 should get around £2000 extra in my bank within a couple of weeks

Selling or keeping it's all down to individual circumstances, fair play to everyone that keeps them i hope they get more than double my £2000 but 2yrs is a long time and i'd rather cash out now than gamble i might double my money in 2yrs

Except they're not going in ur bank they're goinv through your wages so it won't be 2k I doubt. I'd no be holding onto RM shares with the Deutsche Post buying out UKMAIL and potential Scottish Independence in future. Too much volatility on the horizon.

Yes the payment will go through my wages which goes into my bank account

613 shares sold at £4.94 is £3028.22 minus Tax and National insurance taken from that weeks wages means about 32% will be taken from the total, so if my gross pay is £430 + £3028 share money = £3458 - 32% Tax and National insurance = £2352 into my bank account for that week

. It's also complicated by the fact that when we were issued the shares the price was £4.89 and any money after that is not taxable even before the 5yrs is up so on every share sold i have 5p tax free

but anyhow although the shares never cost me anything whatever any of us get we can see it as free money, i see it as money i've earned having to go through all the changes we've had.

Thinking about it £2000 if you divide that by the 3yrs it means all i've earned is an extra £12.82 a week over the 156 weeks

1 Was in April 2014 (The remainder of the SIP 2013 ones)

Then Oct 2015 and Oct 2016.

Well the so called real time sales are still not live on the site.It said october 24th they will be live unless there was a huge number of people selling employee shares,well they are still not live and i read an article that stated most posties where holding?? The share proce dropped yesterday too so im just waiting for it to creep up to around the 5.00 mark and have the real time sales live.

Keeping mine as part of my pension pot. Will sell another day, as I already hold several hundred, and am buying through payroll.

I take it you mean you’re saving money via payroll using the SAYE scheme and will have the option of buying more shares at the end of it. In about a years’ time if I remember correctly?

Yes. I've got shares in several companies already. I also bought RM shares privately and took advantage of the EPO to buy some when they first floated. Most of my share are doing well. I'll sell them for cash, when the time comes, aged 60 onwards.
