No that's incorrect, its has also been extensively covered on this site over the last 3 years.

You pay tax on the lower value of the shares at selling price and the price on the day we were given them. The first tranche, and only the first tranche was given to us at £4.89 so if the share price is lower you pay tax at the price sold. If you sell them at higher than the £4.89 price you pay only the tax due at that level not the higher price.

Anyone know if I will get hit with a big student loan repayment from selling these shares? My wife has just mentioned it and it's got me thinking because it's getting paid through our wages then I'm going to get hit with further deductions aswell as the tax and NI

So sold them last mon ,should have got them pay day,but did not,typical,si I take it,it will be next fri now ??

Equiniti have sent the money from the proceeds of the sale too royal mail/ H.R but the staff at h.r cannot confirm when sellers will receive their payment :crazy:
