How are the shares paid out?

Hi
I just tried to sell my shares on line but I keep getting my details aren't recognised on the "Share Certificate and CSN Trading" page.
I entered my name- dob-account number and tried ticking the Certificate box and RM Nominee Share Service box but still no joy.
Any help will be very welcome

I will be selling them tomorrow.depending that the shares don't drop alot of price.

No everybody in first week will get the same price

I would try it by phone.(today or tomorrow) makes no difference as the market isn't open till tomorrow morning.I have to do mine by phone as I'm locked out of my account.and will not get my code for 4 days.

When I rang Equinti a very posh gentleman said for example all shares that were instructed to sell on Monday would be pooled together then sold for a price each between the lowest/highest on that day. Tues the same, so on and so on.
I gave the instruction to sell on Saturday so am hoping if thats the case it cathese this week's payroll run or next more likely I suspect

i dont think youre on the right page, you need to login to your shares account, also selling by phone costs a bit more too (£50 rather than £15 or so)

I rang today and sold them.it will be paid into the pay roll.I don't think it will make this week's.unless it's done on a Tuesday? I think the payroll is done on a Monday tho??

Payroll deadline is 12 pm Tuesday. So might have a chance of being in this week.

On the portfolio equiti shareview thingy my shares that were in the yellow 'conditional' bit is now empty so i think my shares are sold.

Yeah mine all says the same and I hoped it meant that but it hasn't changed since I did mine online on Saturday. I'm thinking they're not done yet which I don't understand why not.......hopefully I'm wrong though cos my cars just failed its MOT and I can't afford the repair without this money!

What i'm still unsure of is after they've paid it into your wage and deducted the NI and income tax, will they then charge u the higher tax bracket on it all because it flags up on payroll as £2k wage in one week? or are they kept separate from ur normal wage tax?

As I understand it you only pay the higher rate of tax if you are expected to go over the threshold. Most won't be expected to do so, so shouldn't pay excess tax.

So u mean payroll take into account ur hours etc and realise its a one off payment. The computer doesn't just go? wow this guys just started making £2k a week? lol
