Free shares selling

Post by SJH101 »

I'm entitled to sell some of my shares soon........I keep hearing that the date for being able to sell is 15th October, however looking at my share account online on the Equniti website it says that my conditional shares cannot be sold until 7th November. Anybody else have the same date......or know why this is, when everyone else says its 15th October.

Thanks

Not sure if you’ve already found out the answer but, I’m assuming you’re looking at the ‘planner’ page?

The date you can sell is automatically set to 1 month from today(whatever date that is). So all you need to do is change where it says ‘1 month’ to custom and then set the correct date.

Anyone know what the tax implications are for anyone deciding to sell at this time?

1) It's Saturday.
2) If you tried to sell just before you posted your message, you're not even in normal working hours.

The London Stock Exchange opens again at 0800 on Monday so you might have a bit more luck if you try after then.
