Its only like that because of the poor excuses for managers that run the place! Is that royal mails answer to solving the problem of bad postmen? make them managers?No management courses, no people skills, no man management! its ridiculous! ive only been a postman for 2 years and i love the job and the people i work with but i think my little sister could do a better job at managing, they couldnt run a bath!
Im very frustrated over all this pay deal crap aswell, i voted yes for the strkie and was there at all the picket lines, rain or shine and id go out again tomorrow! I have a bad feeling that were gonna get sold down the river with this deal like many other unions before us! It was good peace of mind to know i had something put away for the future, what right do they have to take that away! Makes me so angry! Also, if this flexibility comes in, how many of us will leave? is that what they want? I dont want a job where i dont know what im doing from one day to the next!
when i joined 2 years ago, it was such a good job, plenty of overtime, finished at a good time, no worries! no im watching my back and wondering if i will have a job here next year!
Anyway, needed to vent some anger! Postie n proud!
