Hello so it has been 8 days since my tracking has been updated from "Awaiting customs clearance" to" Customs charged raised", I am not sure what this means and wondering if anyone can assist me

It means that Customs have decreed there is VAT to pay on the item.
If your item is coming by Parcelforce they will send you a bill for the VAT this will include an admin fee up to £12 (Saturday delivery)
http://www.parcelforce.com/help-and-adv ... ge-be-paid" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
If its coming by Royal Mail they will send you a grey card detailing the admin fee £8 and the VAT bill.

Thank you for the useful information. my parcel is coming from Parcel force but I just read online that some tracking have stated "Awaiting customs charge" but mines says something different and assumed it meant another thing
