Gained ~10mins from IPS and parcel sorting finishing early (no surprise after yesterday's bonkers workload), gained at least 20mins by work time learning happening ( ) but very brief, but still not a hope in hell of finishing at the scheduled "short" Tuesday finish time.

The 318s at my depot are diabolical, I have more faith in Trump becoming the next US president! :speak to the hand

Why, oh, why, does every f***ing day have to be so f***ing s**t in this hell hole?
Can there really be a 'worst run corporate cesspit' award? And are the bollockbrains who mismanage Royal Mail clear favourites to win?

I just don't get RM logic (or lack of it) - they go on about deliver to neighbour being 'a Royal Mail standard' yet everyday we're expected to absorb - leaving no time to do D2N. RM managers also complain if you don't take the absorption, complain if you bring it back because you're over your time & then also complain if you do the absorption and then book it as overtime. These clowns must expect you to work for nothing.
They take the profits, you take the blame

There's hard graft, we all know that, but what Royal Mail bosses put us through day in, day out, relentlessly pushing, never satisfied, no let up whatsoever, isn't conducive to good health, not by a long chalk it's not.
One question, do you do overtime or work your hrs? Not running, using a trolley, doing the job right?

Came back to the office after delivery to find out that there are 6 D2D for next week ! Put one set in a slot to test and theres hardly any room for mail. Job is getting tougher by the week. Glad I have less than 5 years to go

I don't do overtime, I use a HCT, I don't cut corners. Still makes for a long, hard, tiring day, every day, never making any significant recovery time, doesn't it?
It's the people with no backbone to stand up for themselves, they're the ones in danger of becoming victims to corporate manslaughter.
