Pension Increase 2016?
I think I am in the Section A/B pension (?) Our pension increase is at the CPI rate of inflation in the previous September (2015).
There was 'negative' inflation then so I don't think we will be getting an increase this April.
I think Section C pensions are based on RPI in previous September, so that may be different.

Pension Increase 2016?
RPI was 0.8% in September 2015 so Section C members should see an increase.
I think pensioners usually get a letter sometime in March telling them how much their increase(or not) is likely to be.

Pension Increase 2016?
We don't get a letter, but if there is a change in the amount of pension for the following month we get a pension pay advice giving the new amount.RobertT wrote:I think pensioners usually get a letter sometime in March telling them how much their increase(or not) is likely to be.
So Section A/B pensioners won't be receiving a monthly pay advice at end of March as we won't be getting an increase, but Section C pensioners should receive one.
