always amazes me how offices differ so much on the same day. We had people cutting off and we just managed to get done on time. Busiest new yr eve I can remember, and there's loads of cages of catalogues lined up for Monday. At least their not due out tomorrow!Blue Moses wrote:Mail fairly light,a fair few catalogues about and alot of oversize packets.
In a van share,working with a runner I was finished by 1.30.
Could have been worse.

Pie in the sky 318 duty planners are great, we did less IPS time than the 318 allocates, yet still left well in excess of 90mins delivery for someone else to do and still went over myself.

Helped part prep several walks - must have done bits of around 6 walks!
then prepped 12 walks with d2ds.
But not fit for delivery as still recovering from knee surgery couple of months ago... (and waiting to see ohassist too)

Different duty, another nonsense 318, left later than 318 suggests despite the lack of a single minute of the planned 30mins WTLL, 318 was further away from reality after delivery despite the lowish all rate.

2nd day back in job after 4 years away
me and driver, dropped 2 bags (2 x 40 mins)
Still finished bang on - round just too big - Manager ask a million questions , instead of sorting it out.
Once out of office, great day - great round - Happy Days

Busy as Christmas today....Loads of Parcels....don't know where they've been hiding them? perhaps they're all the late orders from Amazon?
Lapsing started again this week, nobody took it out today, we just didn't have enough time!

Our lapsing started on the 29th December!...Happy Christmas guys, thanks for all your efforts this year, now bend over and take this.Needless to say sickness has been rife and most of the lapsing just goes out for a ride then comes back at finish time....I am on A/L but back next week, should be interesting as I know some had 7 D2D's last week.
Still O/T opps I suppose

Lucky I was on indoor duties today, as the fly broke on my RM trousers.
Would have been a bit breezy being out on delivery!

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
Surprising lack of Larger Packets, and not too many smaller ones either.
Downside was that everyone seems to be catching up with all their catalogues, so lots of calls/walking.
Would have been a couple of hours over if I hadn't cut off.
