Out the door at 9:20, back to office at 2:30, got the driver to drop me off at the car park and left him to deal with the returns as he told me we would finish no problem and every time I've been on that duty it has been well over. :evil/mad

Fairly busy. Ended the day with a spell in the callers office which wasn't as busy as I thought it would be.

Did an extra row on overtime. Got done just in time. Picked up another £40+ in tips (still down on previous years), two bottles of beer from a corner shop I deliver to and two from a house where the bloke gets shed loads of LPs delivered. Been a very long pressure period, the longest ever. Merry Christmas everybody. Enjoy.

Shittest Christmas for a while! Still had quite a bit of mail and got stuck on an HCT duty I hadn't done for a while....GREAT! Pissing down and Bloody strong winds!

Thought I'd be OK so didn't use the Over running procedure....ended up clocking an extra 2.30 overtime. On Christmas Eve FFS! Difficult to make up any time with a HCT wish I still had a bike :arrrghhh

And my Missus wonders why I never get into the Christmas Spirit? Ba - Humbug! Hope you all enjoy a few well earned days off! I'm gonna get pissed now! :thumbup

We will have had a few in our office that did that also. They don't get on the IPS when called and the managers allow it. You also have to remember that when the managers say "all walks are equal",they talking crap. :cuppa

Apparently this week is supposed to be "light." Never seen so many trays of mail left unsorted on IPS, full of weighty catalogues/brochures, LWTs and HCTs will need motors to tackle any incline!

Mail fairly light,a fair few catalogues about and alot of oversize packets.
In a van share,working with a runner I was finished by 1.30.
Could have been worse.
