Officially when in 2016 can we sell our first wave of shares assuming we are still working for RM

I know the value of shares can fall and rise within a day ,but if we were able to sell today what might the value be roughly or where can I find the above info.

thanks for any info but for personal reasons this info is crucial to me.

You can sell your first ones in mid-October 2016. Current price is about £4.65 per share.

There's a link on this page which will take you to your personal share holding:

The earliest you can sell the first batch of 613(full time) shares should be 15th October 2016, but tax and NI will be payable. If you don’t want to pay tax you’ll have wait until October 2018.

Based on the price of £4.65 per share, the first batch of 613 shares would be worth £2,850, but you would have to pay £912 in tax and NI, leaving £1,938 minus dealing costs in your pocket.

The second batch (116 – full time) dates should be 9th April 2017 taxable and April 2019 untaxable.

The third batch (103 – full time) should be 5th October 2018 taxable and October 2020 untaxable.

Income tax and National Insurance are calculated using the market value of the shares at the time the employee was given the Free Shares or the market value of the Free Shares when the employee removes them from the SIP, whichever is lower.
