Day off spent doing overtime. Had arranged a stint in the callers office for the afternoon but got a call in the morning and ended up doing three rows of a walk before the callers. Something that really stood out was how much easier it was today than Wednesday or Thursday. :confused

All going to sh*t this week - as per last week when moved from my walking half of one van share to the driving half of another (which I'd never done before). Followed up this week with being moved to driving half of my van share with someone who's never done anything in our rural office before - plus the added bonus of all-day rain on Monday ... and also Red Cross D2Ds which are virtually impossible to fit into bags ... even on a so-called "quiet Tuesday"!
Roll on Christmas ...

Horrific

The packets are getting out of hand size wise, I had 2 boxes that contained bar stools, I had to take them out before getting anything else in the van :arrrghhh

We take our parcels to the local post office and he said most of them are too large for Royal Mail and should be Parcleforce. So, how are these getting through the system?

I suspect Parcelforce is struggling and has been for a few weeks.

Noticed two or three weeks ago that the oversize have been getting way too big. I guess PF have been dumping the extra on us!

Yes ltb out last week about this parcel force are pumping in between 10,000 and 36,000 all tracked into the royal mail system due to contract changes with owner drivers within parcelforce.I read that as they are shafting owner drivers out of work but I maybe wrong.Apparently anything upto 20kg.
