Put on parcels for the day. Cleared a load. Finished in the callers office so a late one for me.

Horrible wet day. Rained non stop.
Mail and packets didn't seem like a usual Wednesday and we got the first half done rather quickly. Unfortunately all hell broke loose on the 2nd half. Loads of tracks for the customers who are normally in yet somehow they've all decided today was the day to go out. Trying to write out p739's when the card is soaked and the pen doesn't work with the PDA's going crazy too. Madness
Ended up half an hour over when we thought we were going to be early and in for a telling off for not taking lapsing :Very Happy

Tuesday is often the lightest day, though Monday can be some weeks, Wednesday often the worst though Thursday isn't great, Friday and Saturday vary depending on what the Mail Centre has pushed through.
I think I will just about hang in there. Much better day with no mistakes, partner was still running along but finished before most which can only mean I'm doing alright. Rained a bit and a cool breeze which was nice. The other new guy and his coach finished at 5:45pm yesterday!

First payslip came through today so that'll ease the pain and discomfort :dance

It's been pretty shite all week. Just gotta think of the extra cash all the o/t brings. Doesn't feel worth it when your still delivering when it's getting dark and you've been rained on all day though.

Swapped my walk for a day of parcels, (loads of these) a section of lapsing that hadn't been covered, and a drivers collection. (Never done a collection before). Very late finish with nearly 5 hours overtime. Very long and busy, but truly enjoyable day. :Very Happy

Another extremely long day due to silly circumstances. Did my walk plus half of another. About five minutes before I finished my walk, (I'd already done the overtime) I got a phone call asking if I could rescue a colleague who had gone to another office. He'd lost the van key! Went back to the office and got a spare and set off with instructions of how to get there, only to get lost on the way. Fog on the roads and a speed restriction, then taking a wrong turn Really late getting there and finally getting back. :arrrghhh :arrrghhh :arrrghhh
