I was offered EVR and took it.
I got the redundancy payment,
and the offer of lump sum and pension.
I took a reduced lump sum, and monthly higher pension.
My question is,
the monthly pension I am getting,
does this stop when state pension starts?
I am 55 years young, done 26 years,
and got totally flummoxed today when a friend told me
that the pension I get finishes at state pension age.
So I get no RM pension and only state???
I have tons of paper work I can look through,
but thought would be quicker to ask here.
I f no answer, shall have to go a searching

Re: Help and advice please
With 26 years service I assume you’re in Section C of the RMPP, and I also assume you are currently getting a ‘pension supplement’ added onto your pension.
This supplement will cease when you reach state pension age, but the main pension will increase with inflation each year and will continue to be paid until you die. There may also be a pension paid to your spouse/partner afterwards too.

Thankyou Robert
for your reply.
That has saved me getting all those darn pieces of paper out,
and put my mind at rest.
I do get the pension supplement,
and it's good to hear that that is all I will lose.
