EVR and Added years

Post by fly-catchers »

I am still waiting for the full go ahead on the EVR I applied for in June. My original single page estimate was dated 5th June with a estimated LDOS as 5th September. I was told today that the estimate applies for 3 months up to that date and 3 months after that date. But surely if you don't go until after September and perhaps not until December you would have carried on paying into the pension. I also pay into the Added Years AVC where I brought just under 9 years. On the last illustration from September last year I had 1 year 49 days left to buy. The amount I pay into that each week is a bit more than the amount that goes into the pension in general. So should I expect a larger figure than is shown on that original single sheet if I go beyond September? As the impression I got from the DOM is the figure shown on the original paper is still what I will get. I assume that the 10 page document which I should eventually get (as mention to me in my previous post) should go into greater detail. Perhaps with cartoons!! :nana

When (or if?) you get your formal offer with actual LDOS, your RM pension will have been recalculated on the date the statement was issued on.
