Mate, I think she was chatting you up. Pretty naff come-on line for sure, but it sounds like she was clearly trying to get you indoors for a 'breakfast'.

Busy day with lapsing and half a walk on overtime. Got a good soaking with about 2 hours still to go. Heavier than usual for a Saturday.

Not bad for mail although there were quite a few small packets. Got to one house with a signed for and nearly honked my ring up at the stench coming from within. Cannot understand how people can be so dirty it get THAT bad.

Dead, massive gaps and no packets. 15 specials but 10 of these were international ones so could be done after 1pm
We'll pay for it the rest of the week now

I knew I would pay for yesterday
Parcelgeddon and a cover looper who didn't know the round or the fitting (not changed for the p&l system, still set out as the old single walk)

3 specials, no big parcels, just the usual smaller stuff. Overcast but very humid.

Sat; Mail was ok but it did get warm in the sun by the end.
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

Very hot yesterday. Finished bang on time, absolutely knackered. Had a very long day on Friday. Finished now for a week.

Hot, four specials, hot, a tonne of packets, double absorption (again, just like every day for the last load of weeks), hot, and met with a huge amount of late mail when we returned to the SO. Nightmare!

Very light for a Wednesday
This is the 6th week of no D2Ds either, we have noticed this is 45 minutes a day saved
Means we can go at a leisurely pace

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
Rained when I left the office at 10am, didn't stop all day.
Things I learned :
Stormproof coats are not "prolonged shower proof"
The new coats don't cover your back when you bend over.
Magnum shoes are no longer waterproof
RM supply s**t wet weather gear.
Note to self, buy your own gear for the coming winter !

Easier day than yesterday. Sun stayed out all day. Knackered at the end.
