quick Royal Mail shares question
I left Royal Mail via VR two months ago and kept my shares, they transferred them to me. I didn't get a dividend payment at the end of July like I would have if I was still employed. Does anyone know if I should still get a dividend payment like everyone else (of £104), as I still have my 'free shares' and didn't sell them. thanks.

Yes you should have got a dividend payment.

When they were "transferred", where were they transferred to? An ISA perhaps? A pension account? You are due the dividend, as it has to be accounted for on the balance sheet of Royal Mail - its just a case of finding out where it was (or will be) credited...

Three weeks after my VR last day I received a letter from Equiniti with an instruction form to transfer my shares. Did you return this form? It seems as though you did and transferred your shares into the Royal Mail Nominee Share service. You will then receive your dividend cheque in the post. It is better to have your dividend paid directly into your bank account (you can request this) - the cheque may get lost and you get your money quicker and you do not need to go to the bank and deposit the cheque.
