I've taken buy-down. Just wondering if I still get to keep my allocation of full-timer shares. Anyone know as it was never mentioned in any paperwork I signed.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

As far as I know you get to keep whatever you were allocated originally.

No - those than CAN be represented by the Union, as opposed to those that ARE.

As I understand it the number of shares each person got was based on a specific period immedieately before privatisation, so they should be no reduction or increase in holdings unless you are not a good leaver.

Dividend re-investment plan

The Dividend Re-Investment Plan (DRIP) provides you with the opportunity to use your Royal Mail plc dividend payments to purchase shares in the company at favourable commission rates, enabling you to increase your shareholding.

How does the plan work?
It allows shareholders to use their cash dividends to buy more shares in Royal Mail plc. Rather than receiving a dividend cheque through the post or having a bank account credited with the dividend payment, shareholders can choose to use their cash dividend to buy additional shares.

The DRIP reinvestment of dividends only applies to those who bought shares via the Employee Priority Offer or via a stockbroker. If you only have the free shares then dividends payments will be paid directly to the individual as cash into your bank account.
