just out of interest how much a month are AVC ?

Assuming you're in the RMPP:

Flexiplan starts at £1 per week or £5 per month.
Bonusplan(section c only) £2.88 per week or I assume 12.48 per month, plus RM contribution.

The above amounts include tax relief, so 20% needs to be taken off to find out the actual amount you pay.
