Final salary pension?
Is the current situration with the final salary part of the pension (Old POPS in my case) based on your salary as it was in 2008 or as it will be in the year you retire? Or somewhere inbetween!!

Last year(2014) changes were made to the final salary element of the pension which meant that instead of it increasing with earnings as it had done since it closed in 2008, it now increases with inflation(RPI) up to a maximum of 5%.
