Piece of piss today. Broke the back of my d2ds, finished my election material and was back early. Tomorrow might be a different story going by the preceding posts.

Expensive... For the depot budget.
Even without the... wait for it... lack of 30mins national standard work time learning incoporated into Tuesday workload structure... again.

Not had shirk time learning for the past two weeks.. Had some guff dished out on the shop floor, in hastily announced meetings, no doubt passed off by management as WTL sessions. Always done whenever it looks like we're on the verge of leaving the office early/before time, due to light days.

Had some missorts so I put them in the box thing by the handbrake, then drove round to drop them off.
Got to the next loop, remembered I had a special and went to get it out of the box by the handbrake....realised I'd posted it with the missorts. Luckily they had a postbox on the wall and I was just about able to get my fingers in and take it back out.

Day off today and the sun is shining brightly.
Not the heaviest days yesterday but I noticed there were a fair amount of tracked and signed for items.

Considerably more letters in the second wave boxes (stuffed to the hilt) than the first wave boxes (moderately full) for the whole section... How does that work?

It's only Saturday afternoon and my fellow section OPGs already know they are in for a pig Monday, lapsing won't be filling in spare contract hours, it will be taking most even further over... If they agree to take the lapsing at all.

Saturday was a long and quite tiring day for me. Threw off and took where I was going the Lib Dem leaflets. Did a york of parcels and took six sections of lapsing that others didn't. Good job it was a sunny day.

Best day of my working life. After 31 years and at the age of 49 I am finally free. VR full two years pay in my back pocket. No bullying gaffas to worry about. I even left two loops today to stick my final two fingers up to them. Good luck to you guys, I genuinely think you will need it. One parting shot to the runners and gaffas lads. Up yours

Not too bad today. Managed to get 4 days of the Labour party leaflets thrown off and two days D2Ds too. Bit cooler around here today so I'm hoping it will warm up a bit.

Hammered on letters, thankfully quite light on parcels, so I only had to have ~20mins taken off me.
