Easier here too. Sun shone brightly so didn't need the jacket.

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
Today our managers once again, for a Tuesday, saved ~50 hours (~£500) by not holding any of the 30mins work time learning scheduled into Tuesday's duties.
Instead, they got lapsing done and/or duty deliveries completed mostly inside contract hours.
Hey look DSM, our depot duty sizes are fine, OPGs are mostly finishing early/on time on a Tuesday.

Work Time Waste of Time more like. Do you actually WANT to do WTL?!IloveMYredTROLLEY! wrote:Today our managers once again, for a Tuesday, saved ~50 hours (~£500) by not holding any of the 30mins work time learning scheduled into Tuesday's duties.

I see what you mean though, if the 30mins is scheduled into RM time and the area manager THINKS we are getting WTL done AND finishing on time then he'll be thinking we have too many staff.
But I still think WTL is a joke. Yeah lets all watch a a fire-extinguisher video? WTF? I'm not tackling a f***ing fire whether I've watched an unrealistic video about fire fighting or not.
I saw a film about bomb disposal once - does that mean I'm going to start defusing bombs? DOES IT f**k.

Very steady Wednesday and still no sign of the polling cards
We've noticed a drop in large packets in the last 2 weeks too
No D2Ds

Absolute sodding nightmare of a day !!!! Poll cards for every address; BT cards for virtually every address; about 3 times more mech than usual, and packets through the roof. Everyone at least an hour late going out and getting back, and we got back to find two lots of "candidate mail" for tomorrow - both for every address again. I suppose it could have been worse - they could have let them go on Saturday.

What a day, got back to the office at 3.30, it was like a busy Wednesday and some, forgetting the voting material, I don't get where all the mail came from considering the B/H's
