POLICE want to speak to this man in connection to a fraud in which a man claimed to be working on behalf of parcel delivery firm Yodel.

Homeowners at Sandicroft Close in Birchwood received delivery of a parcel addressed to the previous occupant.

They accepted the delivery, believing it to be a mistake.

However, later that day a man visited the address and claimed to be a delivery driver for Yodel.

The man informed the homeowner the parcel delivered earlier in the day had been delivered incorrectly, and that he was there to collect it.

But the man had no paperwork or identification, and when challenged he ran off.

Police said it was later confirmed the item had been ordered fraudulently and the man was making efforts to obtain the goods for himself.

The incident happened between 11am and 6pm on October 22, although police have only just issued the appeal.

Anyone who recognises the man can call PC Candice Callow at Warrington East NPU on 101, quoting incident number 710 of October 22, 2014.

The thing is though if you do accidentally deliver to the wrong address, Yodel send you back to that address to retrieve the parcel.

I have just had a Yodel experience! Why would anyone bother using this useless company?

They tried to deliver last saturday - not in; working... The next available delivery was the following saturday - a week later (today); still working, of course.

To collect will take a round trip of almost 45 miles.

They could not deliver to another address, they did not want to leave in porch or with neighbour... Called customer service who advised that parcel will not really require a signature and could be left in the porch - expecting next day attempt but had to wait another 4 days... Yet, again driver did not deliver - this time he left an empty card - no time, no date, no information but he took my signed note (about customer service and consent) away...

I only managed to speak to a human when I said to the machine (phone options) that I wanted the parcel returned to sender... It will have to be returned all the same - what a waste of time and effort!

Why my family sent something by Yodel I cannot understand!!! :arrrghhh :arrrghhh :arrrghhh :arrrghhh
