RECRUITMENT PROCESS
Hi, so I was offered a position at one of the west Yorkshire depots on the 2nd Feb and was told I'd be having my security checks done which were completed the same week but it's been 5 weeks now and I still don't know when I'm starting or having an induction. is anybody else having this issue??

Re: RECRUITMENT PROCESS
can take upto 12 weeks between you being offered the job and starting the job.
not sure why or how it takes so long, but it's been that way for years.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: RECRUITMENT PROCESS
Royal Mail work in a slow laborious way. Eight years ago when I first applied it took two months before I heard anything. Don't give up on it, work a week then give up. We are still in the 1970's when it comes to commercial activities within the group.
