News After interview

Post by LetsHopeforthebest »

Hi

I have seen from other posts that it can take a while to get a yes or no after the interview stage. It has been two weeks and i have not heard anything. After the manager told me to 7-10 days. But just wondered if anyone could give me a ruff estimate and how most people get told. As noticed some get informed by phone. Any advice is greatly appricated. Thanks

Wow that is a long time. Yep for postman, You ?. I find the whole process really Impersonal . Guess it's just a waiting game, was just a bit worried as told 7-10days. But after reading the posts can see it's longer.

Is there a gap in your employment history.

Is there a question over your right to work.

There may be a question raised by the CRB background check.

A problem with a reference.

These, and many other instances would cause that status. No doubt they'll contact you at some point

A bit of everything, as my passport is in home office for my ilr- permanent residence, i have given my certified copies of passport visa etc and letters from home office also certified from my solicitor, i have not been working for a while as i was looking after my kid whilst my wife was working hence i was not able to get JSA also, so might that be a factor, rest CRB should be fine never had any bad boy thing in my life..my work reference they never asked but i can give out should not be a problem also before i was at jsa for 2 yrs so they can get record of that, this all looks confusing..do they check on like this for everyone or might they looking out for me.
