how many weeks is it without a shift before you can get put back down on the lower rate as I'm on the higher rate and not worked for 2 weeks ?

And do you get the higher rate for holiday pay as I've had to claim holiday that I've accured before March otherwise I lose it

It's 6 weeks but taking holiday stops the clock. The problem people seem to have is if they reach 4 weeks without contact from angard they lose their security clearance so give angard a ring if you go into a 4th week with no shifts.

The angard AWR holiday rate is £10. If you are in your first year you may get a slightly lower rate due to the first 12 weeks having been at minimum wage, the holiday rate bears no relevance to your shift rates. I got this explanation from angard "Your holiday is calculated at 12.07% of your weekly gross pay and then that figure is divided by your holiday pay rate to give you an accrual in hours."

The need for different hourly holiday rates in your first year is pointless as your holiday entitlement is 12.07% so whatever figure is used to divide this total to get the number of hours accrued it should still work out to 12.07% of your gross earnings.

even if u ring them b4 the 4 weeks they still make u do the checks again i know because it happen to me had to wait 3 weeks then to get back to work
