Hi
I've decided that i'm going to leave Royal mail after 8 years, It's changed so much since i started..I just don't like the way it's going and unfortunately can't see it getting any better..
Does anyone know if i get to hold on to my shares?

If you leave on your own accord or get sacked where do your shares go? Is there now a financial motive to out staff with shares ????

Get sacked, and you do lose entitlement to your Free Shares. The company does not 'receive' those shares, however. They would be held by the trustees, and presumably, when there are sufficient shares in the pot, they'll be allocated amongst remaining employees.hammers67 wrote:If you leave on your own accord or get sacked where do your shares go? If you're suggesting RM might start sacking people just to pocket, what, £3368 ? (729x462p), you'd be daft. If they were motivated by financial savings, sacking a full-time would save them far more than that, in wages
