Allowance for own shoes

Post by DB1100 »

Am I right in thinking that this is only £30.00 or is it possible to get the full price of the footwear that you have to buy,OH assist has told me I can wear my own footwear but it's going to be a struggle if they are only going to cough up £30.00 a time it's Royal Mails fault my feet are wrecked at the minute,I used to be a keen runner for many years.

I was told that the allowance had recently been raised significantly from £30. Unfortunately I have so far been unable to verify that statement.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Most editions of Courier have a letter about uniform issues. Have a look at he name of the person who answers - likely to be the national Uniform Manager.
