A gift Package stuck at GBLALA

A friend in Canada bought a wrist watch and sent to me and it has been at GBLALA for 3 days now. Anyone knows how long it will take for GBLALA process and release it to RM. And again will I have to pay any kind of tax considering that it was a gift? I have email proof to show prove it was a gift.

It may be stuck there for up to a month, there is pretty long delays on items getting through customs, and yes depending on value you may have import charges to pay even though it is marked as a gift
