Really heavy couple of days. National Trust for almost every house yesterday plus loads of packets, and today we had RHS memberships for almost every house and absolutely sh*t loads of packets!

No one told me
Wish they had used the PDA to alert everyone. At least my rest day cover will have an easier day than the rest,

Crap day
Came in from my day off to find out they were sent home early yesterday because of heavy snowfall, so more than half of the round left over to blend in
Snow and slush slowing me down

Long day with nearly half a walk extra on overtime. Dry but very cold all day.The mail wasn't really that bad, what did make it heavy were the National Trust mags. Ah well, as long as they are paying.

Bloody busy at home, on holiday, feet up, watching "catch-up tv" and looking outside at what's left of the snow...!

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
Significantly less than duty's 318 time for portering/IPS/parcel sorting; moderate call rate; low amount of coded mail; low amount of manual mail; low number of attendance parcels; no national weekly standard 30mins WTLL as listed in duty 318...
So why did I only finish up less than 3 minutes before my time?
What were the "planners" smoking when these duties were created in the Delivery Methods revision?
Or do "planners" create duties presuming we will all be naive enough to filter mail on the move; use our trolley as a mobile bag drop; not take our paid breaks etc.?
Or is the data that these duties were created from a few years back completely out of touch with the online shopping revolution?
Or all the above?
