Found this site -= hope it is ok to register - I am a wife of a postie working in Wirral.
Am I allowed to voice my thoughts or is it just for RM staff?

I will try and 'behave' but I am so p.....d off at what is happening that I cannot promise to do that.
What is happening in Wirral is disgusting and yet it has not had any local press coverage.

Hey there is nothing posh about me I am a scouser and proud of it.
I am 100% behind the strike.
Just one question - losing 4 days pay this week - is that legal?

Apparently it is but then the laws of this country are always on the side of those with the deepest pockets, and against those who cant afford to fight unjust decisions and laws. :mad

Well I am not suprised to be told that it is legal as the idiots wouldn't have run the risk of being taken to the cleaners, although I think it is disgusting.
My hubby was told on Thursday this would happen, although other offices seemed to know earlier.

It's legal. It just isn't moral. But when you work for a 'business' where something like 80% of bullying comes from managers, morality isn't a high priority in Royal Mail. How come you're in the 'One Eyed City'? :wink:

Just reading through all the other threads. Brilliant site
Don't know if I am right in thinking but my dad was a postie and when he was on strike for weeks - 1970's sometime I think wives got involved???? Same thing should be happening again.
