On 14 January 2015, all eligible employees with Royal Mail shares will receive a maiden interim dividend of 6.7 pence per share, following Board approval in November 2014.

Eligible full-time employees who received 729 Free Shares will be paid a dividend of over £48 (before tax)*. In total, these employees will have received more than £145 in dividend payments.
Eligible part-time employees will receive a dividend based on their pro-rata allocation of both SIP 2013 and SIP 2014 Free Shares.

Dividend Reinvestment Plan

If you have bought Royal Mail shares in your own right, you may have chosen to participate in the DRIP. If you have, you will not receive a cash dividend payment on these shares. Instead, your dividend payment will be used to buy additional shares. Any cash dividend left over which cannot be used to purchase a whole share will be rolled over to the next dividend.

Important note: companies do not have to pay dividends. Our Board will decide when and how often we will pay dividends to shareholders, and how much these dividends will be. This will depend on many things, including our company’s performance and future investment plans.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
