Delay in Delivery by Royal Mail

Post by merlinjsp »

Dear Royal Friends,
The mail I sent on 17th December from India reached UK by 23rd. But there has not been further updates. The message I get while tracking is :
"Your item with reference RL894535321IN has been received and is being forwarded to our international mail center."
Is there any hope that the item be delivered in a few days time?
Why such a delay?

Stuff from India isn't tracked within the UK, the next scan will be when delivery is attempted. If it's stuck in customs it could be towards the end of the month before customs release the item to Royal Mail

Is it possible that the item is delivered without the status being updated?

Will the pack get stuck in customs, even when it contains only application forms? The letter should reach W1B1PZ (PORTLAND PLACE) before 31st of January. I am worried. Do you see any possibility?
