Hello all , finally got reg on here last night whilst waiting for any news ! - i work in hampshire d.o. and have done for eight years (since millenum!) i did wonder why out of the blue the royal mail wrote to me asking if i still was interested in a postperson vacancy back then ! when i left school in 1991 you could no way get a job at royal mail , no one left and most stayed till retirement (obviously a good job
) NOW just look at it - heres a list over my 8 yrs service that has not only helped towards killing this job but really made me ANGRY
THE WAY FORWARD,THE NAME CHANGE TO CONSIGNIA (THEN BACK AGAIN),LOSS OF SECOND DELIVERY,DOOR 2 DOOR INCREASE ,BUDGET COST CUTS ,DOUBLING UP ON DELIVERYS, there are so many more as you are aware of but really ! so we ALL must reallly stick together here and show these twats at the top the reason we are in stup is due to all these silly plans and just look at the waste on that name change back in 2001 /2 ! millions . I CANT WRITE MUCH MORE I REALLLY AM SO UPSET = CLOSE TO TEARS RUNNING DOWN MY FACE ! along with you i was so PROUD and PASSIONATE about my job when i got it , i really was and i dont see why these two total RUDE , IGNORANT MEN that have NO idea on business but have somehow landed on there feet in top jobs should take OUR jobs,pensions,conditions e.t.c. away -PLEASE TELL ME I CAN KEEP THE FAITH ! another thing really upsetting me are all the stupid selfish comments from newspapers,webpages and chat in town from people that know nothing on whats gone on and going on , its a total disgrace what some of the public think of us , they have no idea that most of us are totally dedicated to giving them the best safe,secure service . well im sorry guys i must dash off now but i end with this TO ALL OUT THERE KEEPING THE FAITH = KEEP GOING BROTHERS WE CAN DO IT ! the sausuage,chips and beans brigade will have to live with themselves in the knowledge that they did nothing to keep hold of what the generations of previous people did for us and now we must continue the fight and HOPE that we aint been sold down the river - ITS WORKING WITH SO MANY NICE POST PEOPLE THAT HELPS ME THROUGH! :cfo :lfo
