Hello - I am in the USA and waiting for a Royal Mail delivery. I have bought a number of things from the UK before so I know I need to check the USPS site to get the full tracking. This parcel however seems stuck in the UK and is not even showing at the USPS site yet.
I realize this is a crazy busy time for postal services so I'm willing to wait it out a bit longer. How long do you think is reasonable?
The tracking is LB217815521gb. The parcel just contains a number of old obsolete coins - nothing precious metal.

12 days is unusual - I would contact the sender and get them to give Royal Mail a push.

Thank you for the reply :) I did let the sender know and they called Royal Mail and were just told that it should show up and that they could start a claim on 1/21/2015. So I agree to wait it out and see if it happened to show.
Well today it showed! So happy!
The very strange thing about it though is that another tracking sticker was placed directly over the sticker with the number the sender had - so that is why the number he had and had given to me had stopped tracking! I can't see any reason why this was done. The sticker beneath looks fine - not damaged.
Anyway -- the new tracking number shows this at the Royal Mail site and much more tracking scans on the USPS site. The old number from my previous post still shows no movement.

Hi --- it is an orange Royal Mail sticker and a GB number in this format--
