sounds like a good week to just work your hours (like every week) :nanapahoehoe wrote:Two yorks of oversize packets, four drop bags of smaller packets, mail for every door, but it did not rain. Finished duty to be confronted with next weeks d2d, mountains of the stuff. Looks like 8 boxes of something bulky (pens in them probably) plus trays of other stuff. How I am going to fit it all in the van next week I have no idea. I have had enough, who wants to join my escape committee?

Why go in early when you don't have to? Won't get much sympathy here if you like working for free, more fool you!

Not too bad on the walk. Did a short stint in the callers office as emergency cover. Somebody trapped his finger in a post box.

Pretty busy yesterday. Hardly any room in the back of the Bipper for bags & parcels!
Day off (shame it's a tuesday!) today.

Mail ok again. Parcels are building up gradually. Can see next week being heavy.

Nice and easy couple of days. No doubt I'll pay for it big time tomorrow.

THE PARCELS
If this is what it is like at the end of November God help us over the next few weeks
My daughter works for Argos and she was saying they can't move for ebay parcels

It went absolutely mental on packets today..... filled the van up with a massive amount. The usual amount of tracked and specials, plus a load of Amazon packets too. We just about managed to get finished on time.
