Re: The "How was your day" thread.
Got a row of another walk on overtime. Did that first as it was near the office and there's time locks etc. Went off to do my walk. Not that bad for a Friday, gaps in a few places but will be booking an hour extended across the two duties. Thankfully no specials and only a few large parcels which makes life easier. Really warm today.

Went in for 4 hours on my day off as the office b****. Parcels then a section of lapsing and a row of another walk. Easy work, easy money.

Had lapsing which was easy but i think it's wrong at this time of year. They cannot get away with this for much longer. Day was ok. Loads of sign for letters (Turn of the month insurance renewals i suspect?) Ken Bruce Radio 2 get's me through my mornings perfectly though so another ok day ;)

Horrendous. Packets, tracked, large magazines all massively above the predicted traffic forecast.
Slider tool. Lol.

Horrendous. Chaos in the office with packets through the roof and the traffic figures were more than 100 boxes short from what they actually were. Gaffer not happy. Think they failed to record the thousands of Virgin Media items that swamped the office. Just a thought.

A major curse of modern life.....VIRGIN MEDIA.
A curse for us, because we have to deliver Branson's s**t every day, or so it seems.
A curse for our customers, because they have to endure this unwanted, uncalled for, unsolicited junk, every fecking day, or so it seems.

Packets galore
12 specials
Tracked up to our eyeballs
And trays upon trays of Next catalogues
Well done RM for sending them out on busy days instead of Monday and Tuesday when we have sod all

Couldn't have put it better myself. From a PR standpoint don't know how he gets away with it as Virgin Media must me responsible for 100's if not 1000's of tonnes of land fill per year.DirtyHarry wrote:A major curse of modern life.....VIRGIN MEDIA.![]()

We had the Next catalogues today but we've been given three days to clear them out
