Re: The "How was your day" thread.
Just about completed on time, with vastly reduced indoor work time (due to some doing early start IPS overtime for some weeks now) and the norm of no sign of Tuesday's scheduled 30min weekly WTLL.
Everyone made to take indoor break while waiting for second waive sequenced to arrive. Why aren't all the questionable workload walks getting all their sequenced in the first waive? Seems to follow the same logic of which walks got assigned summer lapsing or even double summer lapsing!
Heavier on parcels than yesterday, so didn't leave the depot thinking I wouldn't need o/t, thankfully letter call rate was quite low.

Very easy day yesterday. Had someone in to see how things work and funny enough we had lower then normal letters plus the lowest amount of parcels i have ever seen. Going to be a killer today!

Because all walks get two waves of sequenced mail. (Sorry, don't mean to sound pedantic.)IloveMYredTROLLEY! wrote: Why aren't all the questionable workload walks getting all their sequenced in the first waive?

Picked up a bit today. Loads of larger sized packets/parcels came through. The mail itself wasn't too bad. Strangely I didn't have any specials.

Not as bad as i thought it would be. Less mail then a normally wednesday i would say. Finished 40 mins early and managed to get 2 hours OT in and still only finish 15 mins over time.

No specials here either today which is highly unusual for a Wednesday.heapsy wrote:Picked up a bit today. Loads of larger sized packets/parcels came through. The mail itself wasn't too bad. Strangely I didn't have any specials.

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
Well would you believe no specials again today... until I found one that someone in the callers office had allocated to me, but was in fact for a drivers duty. Ended up taking it as he had already gone. I met him as I was leaving the address, he pulled up with their mail.
Busy day with a row of another walk on overtime. I was in on overtime today and I'd only been in the building 5 minutes when I was asked to do the row.
