can I be optimistic ??

Hi - i went for a postie job got and got through to the interview.I didn't get the job gutted! but was put on the waiting list.
I applied for another and didn't get that either doubly gutted :( I am doing others as they come up- can i be hopeful do you think? as i think being on the waiting list means i passed the interview?
has this happened to anyone else ....

Yes be optimistic - I was on the waiting list for nearly 4 months - 10 years later and I am still working at RM.

thank you so much that makes me feel a lot better about my chances- fingers crossed ill be like you and be out and about 10 years down the line

I was on waiting list for almost a year before I was offered a job. but that was when they had frozen recruitment during the early 80's recession, then worked for RM for 32 years until I took redundancy last year.
Now happily on RM pension for another 32 years hopefully!

Yes, I was on a waiting for list for 3 months and had almost given up hope but got a phone call out of the blue offering me a job.
