If you resign or are dismissed within three years after being given the Free Shares, you will lose the shares.

If you resign or are dismissed more than three years after being given the Free Shares you will not lose your Free Shares.

If you leave between three and five years after being given the Free Shares, you will need to pay any income tax and National Insurance that is due, but if you leave after five years no income tax or National Insurance will be due.

If you're 60 or above when you leave you are deemed to be retiring and will get to keep the shares regardless of the 3/5 year rules.

You do own them there are simply rules and regulations attached to the scheme under which they were bought.

Leavin - really?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.
