Testing: Front dived on very low on braking, rear brakes sounded like the Titanic hitting an ice berg...Not good.

I then realise, he wants me to get into the VERY SAME VAN!!!!!

BEGGARS BELIEF, that they are expecting us to use vans that are possibly dangerous and potentially unable to stop or be controlled correctly..and then go on to use it themselves. If he had an accident, he wouldn't have had a leg to stand on....
So, these "Our Staff are Important/Safety First posters, info etc, is ALL B.S?????

pmt'd mine a few weeks ago with dodgy brakes so instead of sending it to garage other people were using it while i presumably used their vans

You should have refused to go out unless they transport you in a vehicle that is a, mechanically sound, and b, fit for purpose. It is your life that you are risking and you should report this incident to the Health and Safety Executive, the CWU health and safety officer, and finally Moya Greene. Ask ker if she would be prepared to risk her life.
