Four trays of WSM, Though only about half of it sorted for some reason. Shedloads of loose. Was just like the good old days, before lapsing. How I miss them
uber busy! Too many packets for my hct (had to pass some onto van driver). Wheens of mail and D2Ds (the route i'm on has 5 lots of D2Ds this week!) Loads of mail to sort to, eventaully I got out the DO for back of 10...
And an extra bit of overtime delivering part of another walk (which ended up nearly 2 hours as I found it a bit tricky to navigate, houses which don't have numbers on the door / wall aren't particularly helpful!)
Heavy week so far but pretty light today - very few packets and no specials. Had time to take lapsing, fuel up the van, give it a blast in the carwash and get tomorrows D2D's in.
I did wonder why Friday was very quiet packet wise - they all came today instead!
An hours lapsing first thing, got a lift out to the duty with LWT and 2 bags (not had my "test" to get driving the vans yet), did it, then lift back to office, then out to deliver my usual route with my HTC at 11am! Arrived back at the DO just as the PHG was about to lock up for the day!
In the process of trying to offload a recorded with delivery to neighbour the lady who answers the door doesn't speak a word of english and enlists the help of her 6 year old daughter who only nods and draws a circle on the PDA. Win.
Not as bad as I expected. Got put on a different duty, and was asked to do some extra delivery on OT. By the time I got back from my delivery, the office had been cleared, so no OT needed!
