How many posties in your DO go out without using any sunscreen at all?
As a consequence how many are sunburned?

Around 95%. And your going to say the cwu are trying to make these people aware of the dangers? Which is a good thing. My point is the dangers are very very real that you should avoid the sun at peak times as you are at high risk of getting skin cancer even with protection on.

I've been going on about this for years in my DO and get laughed at every time I bring it up by management and cwu reps. If I was to pull a cigarette out in the work place and start smoking I would be quickly told by non smokers of the dangers of smoking and what passive smoke can do to others, and more than likely sacked but when I mention the dangers of the sun I get looked at as if I have to heads lol. And no I don't smoke

Why dont we get the unemployed - ie. The lazy teenagers who dont want to work - to follow us around with a Sun Shade???

My brother fought in Aden in the 60's and was 5 years ago found to be suffering from skin cancer due to this,and was awarded compensation by the veterans agency,since then he has found out a good number of his mates have also had it,this is how long skin cancer can take to show,so all you 20 year olds take heed,the sun is not your friend.
