Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

Much too hot for me! I took a 2 litre bottle of water with me but it still wasn't enough. Gonna be a scorcher all week!

Had an extra half of D2D to do today, as some of them hadn't been done yesterday.... So not a particularly quiet Tuesday. Boiling hot though!

Nightmare Tuesday
P&L walker never done the round before and only 6 months into the job. He forgot to prep 4 lots of D2Ds and then posted 2 specials without signature, told me at 1:30pm when he saw me putting away the ones I couldn't deliver (I use a box with a lid to keep them safe and separate in the van)
DOM not answering phone

Sick of delivering in this heat, going through ~4l of water on delivery, between thirst quenching and tipping water over my head to try and cool down.

99% of calls visited thanks to an electoral letter for EVERY voter at the address (like polling cards) . A pointless waste of council cash and our health.
Why are lino's paid full-time ??

Sat in the van on my break, only for some yob to come along in their poxy Vauxhall Corsa and purposely swerve to the other side of the road to try and run a Seagull over. It managed to hit it, but flew off after a couple minutes.
Reported it to 101 but doubt nothing will happen ...

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
Fairly quiet for a Thursday tbh, double lapsing to make up for that, very hot no sign of water bottles of management and no plastic cups left on the water fountain, back on a schedule in the afternoon also, the amount of colleagues still wearing trousers out on delivery is a lite puzzling they must be boiling.
