Has anyone else noticed how light yesterday and today have been, or is it just us in the NE?
Something is afoot methinks as this comes on the heels of the boss giving us s**t for 'inefficiency', checking our duty lengths and trying to redefine 'flexing'.

I'm off today but noticed my post was early - we've had a quiet week in this area of Manchester and I've booked no extended despite starting on time AND including lapsing each day. TNT delivered well after RM and are usually earlier and DPD have delivered one package to me dead on time with info all the way to my door. Amazon Prime are nowhere to be seen in their "any old van" livery and will probably deliver about 8pm like they did last time. Only one DTD over both walks on our van share P&L duty so I guess all the work we used to do is getting spread a bit thinner. Nice if you like a good summer - not nice if you are looking to the future
We wish to serve - but we will not be servile

Hectic day. Out doing 9 o'clock specials and a regular firms drop. Out late with my own walk. Back in the callers office until the evening.

Lapsed 6 duties, had to cover 3 myself, and do most of the managers work............ would rather spend a week with the mother in law than go through that again.
