Uncaring Royal Mail unable to deliver solution

MAY I, through your columns, express my distress at the total lack of compassion afforded to me by Royal Mail?

I lost my husband to cancer just over two years ago. I struggle without him and there are some days that I just cannot cope.

A postman has initiated legal proceedings against me for a small incident with himself and my little dog, my sole companion.

I have asked Royal Mail if the postman could be transferred to an adjacent avenue away from mine, as his presence in my avenue is exacerbating my pain.

Royal Mail's inability to accede to my request is very heartless. I cannot believe Royal Mail can be so uncaring and insensitive.

To Royal Mail may I say thank you for absolutely nothing. Your lack of compassion and sympathy to my situation is deplorable.

Yet we're not informed whether "my little dog" caused injury to the postman and whether the "small incident" for the dog owner is anything but a "small incident" for the postman.

Yeah screw everyone else on the round and the postman because he selfishly let my dog bite his nuts off!

Hi guys, this is my first post as I only joined today after hearing about this thread...
As the postman that was involved, and would like to make it clear that I was injured after this persons dog bit me on the back of the thigh as I walked down the street on my delivery. Unable to control the dog ON ITS LEAD it ran from behind me and bit me breaking the skin (through 3 layers of clothes) also requiring me to get a tetanus. Not really a small incident in my book and as far as I know small dogs have the same amount of teeth as big dogs...
So far my management has backed me up well saying I don't have to move as I have done nothing wrong and it would be deemed as punishment to move me elsewhere.
I'm not sure why people cant take a bit of responsibility for their actions...
The matter is now in the hands of my union rep

Yes they are - best to leave it alone if you are unsure, especially if she is monitoring things.
