Seems to be a bit of a delay, before I used to get loads of TNT mail all week, now I get a double dose on a Thursday & Friday. I'm guessing it's because TNT try to deliver as much as they can, but what they can't handle or what they can't find they slap a sticker on it and give it to us to deliver.

Its changed part of their duty is now to "Promote Competition", guess the bankers want "us" the expensive part of the delivery system trimmed and cheaper.

Ofcoms first duty to the USO is to protect it. While it may not be under threat today. if action is not taken now, there could come a time when it will be beyond Ofcom's powers to save the USO without having to accept a cut in the services.TrueBlueTerrier wrote:Chitchat wrote:I wonder when Ofcom will do their job and protect the USO!![]()

My opinion is their should only be one provider of the USO. While TNT will boost that competition in the delivery of letters has created jobs. In reality we all know that for every zero hour, minimum wage job they create Royal mail will have to lose a good quality job, on a good wage.
